Final thoughts: I’d read a lot of negative things about this sequel and now after seeing it I don’t understand all the hate. As good as the movie is, the ‘torture porn’ sub-genre is getting old now. Cons: Like the first film, this one takes a while to get to the point. Though not as memorable, this film’s ending is still unforgettable. Nathan Barr, composer of the first film, does another good score here.
Awesome production design and gorgeous architecture. Again the bad guys are creepy and may give you many a sleepless night. Like in the original, the filmmakers make great use of the locations and get some beautiful shots. Pros: An awesome and scary opening dream sequence.
